Planning an event has never been easier at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. With over 700,000 square feet of flexible space, modern amenities, and a prime downtown location, GRCC is the ideal venue for conventions, corporate meetings, social celebrations, and everything in between. Our dedicated team is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring your event is seamless and memorable.

What to expect after submision
Once we receive your inquiry, a Sales Manager will connect with you to discuss available dates, event goals, and space recommendations. They’ll work with you to develop a proposal, confirm your space, and issue a contract. After your event is confirmed and booked, you’ll be introduced to your Event Manager, your dedicated point of contact from that point forward.
Your Event Manager will serve as your main liaison with GRCC staff and service providers, ensuring all the details of your event are coordinated smoothly. From floor plans and setup logistics to compliance with facility rules and day-of support, they’ll be with you throughout the entire process - including pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up.
At GRCC, we don’t just provide the space, we become part of your team. Our goal is to make the planning process feel manageable, collaborative, and even enjoyable. From your first walkthrough to your last guest departure, we’re here to support you, troubleshoot with you, and celebrate with you. Yes—tours are available by appointment Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, except during an ongoing event.

Start with a Sales Manager to secure space by making a deposit and signing a contract. Once booked, you’ll work with an Event Manager who handles logistics and on-site coordination.

Standard setup (tables, chairs, podium, 2 skirted registration tables) is included. Layouts: theater, classroom, rounds, or boardroom.

Food and beverage services are provided exclusively by Aramark.
Outside food and caterers are not allowed unless approved for special cases.

Encore is is our preferred AV and exclusive rigging provider. You may use other AV vendors, but rigging must go through Encore.

It varies. Common fees include AV, catering, internet, cleaning, staffing, and utilities. Your Event Manager will provide a detailed estimate.
